Homebrew Long wire antenna

A new Homebrew Long wire antenna. For big holiday in happy new year 2013. I made a antenna replacement old dipole antenna 10 meter band. This antenna I use 1.5mm dia  wire around 15 meter long. The wire connect to balun 9:1. I made this balun for longwire antenna.

This is homemade Balun 9:1.  I measure by spectrum analyzer, It's Cover 1.8-20 band. I will be test on the air

Sound card interface by cheap USB sound card.

Sound card interface is a equipment for communication. Any mode using a computer for encode or decode data should be interface for control transceiver. I brought a cheap USB sound card at computer store. Then come to my workbench to making its.

A circuit is simple. Audio output from USB sound card direct to port for connect to mic of transceiver. At a same time audio signal going to control NPN transistor. A transistor I use 2n3904 for switch or control PTT port for transceiver.

I can find many circuit on internet. VOX control is use for this sound card interface.

Day two with Andriod

2nd day for try a using andriod. After I using glSDR, I thinking why any hhavve information for use RTLSDR with andriod. Andriod is a compact hardwere and some softwere.

If I can used RtlSDR with tablate I think is vary compact for portable station. Many ham like my  idea.

Sdr on Android tablet

I have a android tablet for test in 2 or 3 days. Now I have a first time for using android. A testing today I added a SDR application into tablet. Application is glSDR.
In the app have a many share server  You can select once for listening from him/her location. About all station share in HF band. If you haven't a amateur licence you can try to listens on this.
