SDR from DVB-T dongles (Thai Language)

มีคนแนะนำให้ผมเขียนเรื่องนี้ป็นแบบ ภาษาไทย ก็เลยลองมาเขียนเล่าให้ดู
เมื่อเดือนที่แล้วผมได้รับทวิต จาก @SDR_news เป็นขอความซึ่งบอกไว้ว่า ทำSDR ด้วยราคา ๒๐ ดอลล่าร์ หรือประมาณ ๖๐๐กว่าบาท ผมก็เลยสนใจ ในลิงค ก็นำผมไปสู่ วีดีโอในยูทูปที่ชื่อว่า "$20 ultra-cheap Software Defined Radio with RTL2832". ก็เขาบอกรายละเอียดของตัว DVB_T ที่จะมาทำ SDR

ซึงดูจากคลิปแล้วก็ไม่ยากอะไร ผมก็เลยสั่งเจ้าตัวDVB_T dongles มาลองดูเจ้าตัวDVB_T นี้เป็นแบบUSB ซึงเป็นแบบไหนใช้ได้ ก็ต้องไปดูใน RTL-SDR Compalibility list ซึ่งมีคนทดสอบ(แต่บนLinux)และลงขอมูลไว้ ในReddit.com ก็พออ้างอิงได้พอสมควร http://www.reddit.com/r/RTLSDR/comments/s6ddo/rtlsdr_compatibility_list_v2_work_in_progress/ ซิ่งในรายละเอียดที่เข้าใจก็สำหรับเจ้าDVB_T ที่ทดลอง จะใช้IC RLT2832U และIC ที่ทำหน้าที่เป็น Tunner สองรุ่นคือ E4000 กับ FC0012 หรือ FC0013 ซึ่ง ผมก็ได้ไปสั่งเป็น Digital TV Tuner DVB-T MPEG4 Realtek RTL2832U / E4000 Radio SDR P160

ผมสั่งใช้เวลาประมาณสองอาทิตย์ ก็ได้ของ ราคาก็ ๓๓ ดอลล่าร์ ก็ ๙๐๐ กว่าบาท

ตอนนี้เท่าที่ทราบคือมีสองแบบคือบนระบบวินโดว์ จะเป็นการใช้ ExtIO plugin เป็นการใ้ช USRPs อินเตอร์เฟส และอีกอันเป็น RTL_SDRเป็นGNU_RADIOซอร์ฟแวร์บนลีนุกค์ ตอนนี้ได้ของมาขอลองที่บนวินโดว์ก่อน

SDR by DVB-T usb dougles

Last month I received a twit from following @SDR_News about a cheap $20 SDR. Information show in youtube by balint256 "$20 ultra-cheap Software Defined Radio with RTL2832". The youtube inform download software at http://spench.net/r/USRP_Interface. I doing following in this page and complete install and run. First time with sample rate 2Mbps in setting ExIO_USRP. It can't change frequency when run it. Now I running at ~0.9Mbps but reduce a bandwidth for monitor, So it OK for performance. Next improve station for support.

Homemade AZ/EL Ratator controller.

I will design a AZ/EL rotator controoler to use for test communicate in moon bounce 。This design refer.../sv1bsx/actuator/actuator.html in first step.

This is design follow from web to pattern PCB. In actual I use universal PCB to make prototype. Then Pattern PCB evaluate from prototype.

In the box has a transformer. The transformer carrier out 4 Kind of voltage (33、24、12、and 6V）。　I use 33 and 24 to supplied the motor. And 12 DCV for supplied control board. Actuator need 33Vdc　to　supplied　and　Washer motor need 12Vdc to supplied.

The meter for indrcated portion of　antenna。I used 10mA meter and　modify　display　change the scale to AZ and EL degree meter.
Next step I modify actuator later.

New PC for my station.

Setup New computer in my station. I brought at second hand shop. ฿900 for spec P4-2.4 Ghz and RAM 521 Mb except Hard drive and CD-ROM but don't worry I have 2 items in my home.

First install Ubuntu 8.04 with EMC2. This package setting for control Mini CNC project. May I aad more one for APRS digipeater.
Next find the software and learning to use the Linux system. Little understand for me.
