Balun 1:1

Dipole antenna made by wire or pipe what I cut to quarter-wavelength for each side or measure a impedance at center to 50 ohm. Actual at center of antenna (Center fed) has impedance 50 ohm balanced. I must adding a Balun to convert unbalanced signal from transceiver to balanced signal to antenna.

I selected a balun 1:1 for my antenna. Balun 1:1 is suppressing current unbalance signal better than a Balun choke coil. My Balun used 14 turns of 3 wire on AM ferrite rod. Next to 6 meters each side of wire for dipole antenna.

Complete set up new antenna for EME

complete setting antenna 7 element 4 stack.
actually I'm not install the rotator. It's next project.

Remove current antenna 8el x 2stacks

Add 3m.aluminum pipe for extend the pole. Then set the 3m.horizontal boom. I use door hinge for set this antenna can upsweep.

Final setup stack 4x7el with 2.85m.horizontal and 3m.vertical. In the center use power splitter for connect to coaxcial cord to my rig.

Why don't take the better station?

This is a one for all in TFDC2010. I can not completed setting up new antenna. My plan must be set 7 elements 4 stacks before stating TFDC2010 but actually I do not set following my plan because I have a little time to do set up. So I must be continuous to complete set up my antenna
